Ice caps

This term in reading we have been reading about the environment.
We read this article.
Now that I have read this article I have a greater understanding of what is happening.
The temperatures are rising because of climate change and it is melting the ice caps in the south and north pole causing the seas to rise and extreme flooding.
Scientists say that the ice caps contain 70% of the world's freshwater supply.

Here are some ideas to stop climate change:

I think we should:

  • Use electric cars
  • Invent electric buses
  • Buy solar panels
  • Bike or scooter to school
  • Or simply turning the light off when your out of the room

I hope I have inspired you to do something to help the environment

What changes will you make to help the environment?
